John Herbert Eastaugh died on 25 March 1943 aged 26.
He was the son of John and Florence Ellen Eastaugh of Windlesham, Surrey.
John Eastaugh is buried in Khartoum War Cemetery, Sudan (grave 12.A.5). He is also remembered on the Woking County Grammar School roll of honour located in Christ Church, Woking and a stone in St. John the Baptist Church, Windlesham which records he had been a church chorister.
