Terence Francis Collins was born in 1914. He died of illness 4 April 1942 aged 27 whilst serving aboard the light cruiser HMS Colombo.

He was the son of Francis George and Annie Marshall Collins (nee Freeman) of Woking.

Terence Collins is buried in Mombassa (Mbaraki) Cemetery, Kenya (row D, grave 20). He is also remembered on the Woking County Grammar School roll of honour located in Christ Church, Woking.
